Business, made accessible
Meaningful business and leadership opportunities should be within reach of every student — regardless of background, experience, or financial means.
Momentum keeps the competition free and open to high school students across Greater Vancouver. No prior case-competition experience is expected. What matters is the willingness to think, collaborate, and present.
Why Momentum exists →02 / The format
Think clearly. Present boldly.
Teams of four to six analyze a real-world business case, develop a recommendation, and pitch it live to a professional judging panel. The day is built to feel challenging, practical, and worth showing up for.
Build the team
Bring your own group of four to six, or reach out and ask to be placed with others.
→ 02Break down the case
Find the important signal, shape a strategy, and turn your thinking into a clear recommendation.
→ 03Own the room
Present to professionals across finance, strategy, marketing, and operations — then learn from the feedback.

03 / The conference
One day, in motion
The case is only one part of Momentum. Teams work, listen to youth speakers, meet peers, and leave with a stronger sense of what business can look like.
04 / What’s at stake
Real stakes for real strategy.
The winning team takes home a $1,000 cash prize and an iPhone 17e for each member. Every delegate leaves with sharper thinking, new connections, and a day that belongs on any résumé.
