The essentials about taking part in Momentum. If your question isn't here, reach out — we're happy to help.
Momentum is open to all high school students across Greater Vancouver. No prior case-competition or business experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to work as a team.
Nothing. Entry is completely free — financial accessibility is the entire reason Momentum was created. There are no hidden fees for delegates.
Teams are made up of four to six delegates. You can register as a complete team, or reach out and we'll do our best to place you with others.
Not at all. Many delegates take part in their first case competition at Momentum. You'll receive the case on the day, and judges are there to give feedback and help you learn, not to catch you out.
The winning team takes home a $1,000 cash prize and an iPhone 17e. Beyond that, every delegate gains professional feedback, networking, and a day that stands out on any application.
The inaugural Momentum was held on April 11, 2026 at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Dates for the next iteration are still to be announced — email us to be notified when registration opens.
